I take the train into Brussels every day to go to work. Most mornings, it’s about 3 minutes late - which is still on time according to the way they judge on-time in this country. For most of October, the train has been running 10 - 15 minutes late. Except for today when it was 4 minutes early. I just happened to pull into the parking lot as the train was stopping at the platform. I imagine quite a few people missed their train this morning. And at my station, that means waiting an hour for the next train to Brussels or grabbing one of the other 3 trains and figuring out which connections you need to take to get where you need to go.

You have to love the Belgian train service.
